Hi everyone, a plugin update just went live. These are the items that have been updated:
Sign permissions
During and following the previous update (12.0.0), we have added much more flexibility such that we can assign more permissions to all ranks. In this update you can see this back in the form of sign permissions for greenies, but also more flexible permissions for mods and board.
These steps are in pursuit of reduced dependency on admins during the creation of maps, and making map making tools more widespread. A step that we've taken in-between updates, but we had not officially announced until now is that mods have gained the ability to use (most of) WorldEdit. This should serve as a stopgap while we continue work on a more widespread solution.
In a similar vein, Board had previously been given permissions to modify map types and publish maps. We are now extending that with the ability to create join signs so that /warp board can be maintained more efficiently.
Sign permissions
- Greenies can now create:
- [Checkpoint]s
- [Finish] signs
- [Join] signs
- [Preview] signs
- for their own maps that are on Board or "None" (pre-board)
- Greenies can now create [Quit] signs (anywhere, as these aren't bound to maps)
- Mods can now create:
- [Checkpoint]s
- [Finish] signs
- [Join] signs
- [Preview] signs
- Hardcore join signs
- [Challenge] join signs
- for all maps and challenges
- Board members can now create join signs for all non-hardcore maps.
- In maps with a resource pack, respawning will no longer reload the resource pack.
- Fixed a niche error message not properly showing up.
